Worship Service Gatherings|
We are now open again for public worship. We opened our doors on Sunday, June 7, for the first time since March 15 for our first public worship gathering since the COVID-19 pandemic forced us to shut down. We are still in safe mode and practicing all the recommended guidelines from the CDC for social gathering to keep everyone as safe as possible. We request that everyone wear a mask when they enter our facility and remain masked until they leave. We do not touch by handshaking or hugging. Seating during our worship service is sufficiently spaced out to maintain a generous six-foot or better spacing between individuals. Our greeters who come in closer contact with participants are masked and also wear gloves when passing out bulletins and other materials. Hand sanitizers are readily available at our entrances and at other remote places as well as anti-viral disinfectant agents in the restrooms. We are ready and prepared to receive you to worship with us on Sunday morning at 10:30 AM. If you still feel uncomfortable at this time to be out in a public setting, we understand and respect your decision. Please be aware that you can also watch our worship service on Facebook Live on Sunday morning at 10:30 AM as an alternative.
For our children we have been streaming our Alley Ministry also on Facebook Live each Sunday morning at 10:00 AM. If you have students in Grades K-5th Grade please check this out. Chris Field conducts a teaching time of a short Bible lesson that emphasizes an appropriate Bible verse each week. There are also learning exercises that are available to be emailed by subscription to regular members and attenders that can be printed off at home. If you are not currently on the subscription list and would like to have these materials sent for your student, please read below about our Connect Card and request the Alley Live materials there.
During this time of social distancing as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic
we feel that staying in contact with each other is very important as a
church family in order to "Be The Church" as we serve Christ in our body
and in the community. Since we are not meeting physically in a weekly
gathering we have developed a CONNECT CARD that is virtual online that
anyone can use to contact the leadership in the church office. By clicking
on the CONNECT CARD link you can communicate directly any need that
you may have with the church office and someone from leadership or
Church Family Support will be able to respond to you.
Church Family Support Team
The Church Family Support Team, a ministry of our Deacons, is available to minister to our members and regular attenders when there is a hospitalization or death in their family. Contact the church office to let us know of a need.
